I’m now stepping into a new environment real soon.
Most of my secondary schoolmates were posted to np, only a handful of them were in sp. Thought Jermain, Zhi Ti , Ellin , Farhana ,Lin Min ,Eugene and cheong chim are in the same school as me but all of us were either in different courses or classes. I guess we will be “hi and bye” friends sooner or later as most of the time we will be spending time with our own classmates. We will only meet up when there is “class gathering” or “class outing” to keep in contact with one another. If no one were to take the first move we wont be gather together as our bonding were not strong, its all form by different groups and not a big group. I really have to thank Miss Hoe for bonding us together for like 3 years by arranging outings, chalets, and activities. And that make 5S1.
Went for the freshmen camp on the 7th April. It was a 4 days camp, I only went for the first and last day of the camp.
First day,
I wanted to sleep early because I have to wake up as early as 6.30am to prepare myself for school and meet Jermain at 7.20am at lakeside MRT. I did not manage to sleep early but to sleep as usually at 3-4 am in the morning and have to force myself to wake up at 6.30am.
After we have reach that venue, there were a lots of paper pasted on the wall, both of us were searching for our names and what class are we at. To our disappointment, we were both at different class. I’m at 1A and she is at 1B. We were asked to go into a lecture hall and wait for the lectures to separate us into our classes and processed to the SPICE training.
My new classmates and I were brought into a computer lab. Our personal tutor starts to introduce this and that. My class size is only 19 students. As usually more girls then boys. After so many years of studies, imp not used to a class with only 19 students.
We waited for like 30 mins or so then we start on the actually thing, SPICE training. Before I attend this SPICE training, I thought it was something very important but it is not important at all. It actually a waste of time. I gets more and more sleepy as the lesson goes on.
Finally the lesson ends at 12+. On the first day, I only talk Yvonne, Lisa and Hui Ming. Had an exchange of our handphone numbers.
Meet Jermaine and ellin for lunch and school pizza hut. I could not find my way out to meet jermain. In the end, jermain told me to stay where I am and she will look for me at the place that I’m at. Seriously I have no idea of where is where and how to get from a place to another place. I wonder how long I will take to make sure that I will not get lost in school.
Lunch with jermain was damn funny. Once I met jermain, she starts telling me her classmates were like which type. She told me that her class have a class size of 19, only 4 boys. NO YAN DAO!!!! Out of 4, there was only 1 who looks ok but he have a girlfriend in the same class as her also. The remaining 3 were like yong hui type…… she was so sian about her classmate that she said that her 3 years in poly was gone! I was laughing non stop when she was talking about that. The way she says and her action was damn funny. When ellin was with us, jermain repeat the story again to ellin. Our conversation was converted into “boys”. Chat, laugh and hunting for guys at the same time.
At night, I was telling jermain’s story to theck sheng and had another round of laugh again. At the same time, I decided not to go for the next 2 days which was talks and talks on the second day and games and activities on the third day. Send a message to jermain, both of us agree to rest till the fourth day.
Fourth day,
A long day. Morning 8am till 10pm.
Actually plan: 8.00am-2.00pm flag day 2.30pm-3.30pm report in a classroom 3.30pm-5.00pm go home to rest 5.00pm-8.00pm party in school
Suppose to meet Yvonne at 7.20am for breakfast but I was late due to the traffic jam and end up meeting her at 7.45pm. Grab some finger food for breakfast. Meet the rest of our classmates but some of them were late. So we were asked to start our flag day without them at boon lay MRT. Both Yvonne and I station ourselves at the bus interchange. Be honesty I only had 3-4 people donate and I dare not to approach that passer-by. My total amount for Flag Day was $3.45 only. I have to fork up whatever coins I have in my wallet to donate it into my tin. All 5 cents 10 cents 20 cents goes into my tin. After for like 30- 40 mins both of us begin to slack. We went to have MAC for breakfast as this was what we had planned to have at 7.20am. Saw Lisa, Diona and Jannah were sitting there too. Joined them for a while and they left us for shopping. After they left, we moved to a corner so that it won’t be easily spotted by lecturer. Half way through our breakfast, we saw Mr. Ee and he saw us too! I pretend nothing wrong to be eating breakfast during Flag Day. ACTING! He also pretend never mind, still asked us where and what time to meet for SWENSENS. We continue slacking there till 9.55am and called Janna to check out what time and where is the class supposed to meet. Upon leaving MAC, we saw Mr. Ee was also having breakfast at MAC as well. Lol.
Later I found out that Jannah have $90 vouchers for SWENSENS. We were 30 mins early for SWENSENS as they only open at 10.30am. The whole class took some class photos at the entrance of Jurong point. A lot of the passer-by were looking at us but we still din give a damn to it. The boys in my class was FUNNY, can say that they were united but as for the girls, there are 2 different groups. One the quite group another one will be US, Lisa,Diona,Jannah,Yvonne and I, our group can say is more active and always click along with the boys.
During the photo taking, I’m kind of surprise that Lisa,Diona,Jannah will always call me to join in their photo taking as imp not in school at second and third day of the camp and din really have a chance to mix with them other then the first day. I’m glad about it. Haha
SWENSENS,SHOPPING,SWENSENS……
The Flag Day only lasted for like 30mis or 40 mins the most! DAMN SLACK. I like my classmates more and more even thought the 3 of them are more of English specking, only Yvonne and I are more to Chinese. But I think is alright ba…
Back in school at 2.30pm and waited for Mr. Ee to be in the classroom to collect our tin. By then I’m getting sleepy until I almost closed my eyes. Headache coming to me as well. Really really want to go home and forget about the party at night. We were dismissed at 4+pm. I could not make up my mind to go home or party, is like a few more mins more to the party and jannah and Lisa was like “come la come for a while 7+ then go home liao”
I end up meeting jermain they all then had mac for dinner. Then party with them till 8+. Lisa and Diona went home at 6+. Left with jannah and some boys. The party was kind of bore. Din manage to get high.
